chocolate

Chocolate has a very long history. The history of chocalate began in Sothern Mexico.Fermented beverages made from chocolate date back to 450 BC. The Aztecs believed that cacao seeds were the gift of Quetzalcoatl, the god of wisdom, and the seeds once had so much value that they were used as a form of currency.he creation of the first modern chocolate bar is credited to Joseph Fry, who in 1847 discovered that he could make a moldable chocolate paste by adding melted cacao butter back into Dutch cocoa. By 1868, a little company called Cadbury was marketing boxes of chocolate candies in England. Chocolate was made 173 years ago today.Hot chocolate quickly caught on in Europe but it didn't just come from South America. In the late 17th century, Hans Sloane visited Jamaica and became enamoured with the Caribbean islands' method for making hot chocolate.Cocoa production has potential to do no environmental harm if properly managed, but best practices are not widespread, leading to soil erosion and ultimately further deforestation for new plantations. When the soil erodes, the land becomes less fertile for cocoa and yields decrease. it is not ok to make children to work for the pepole or the slaves, because it is now against the law.
